Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of PermitPager (the “Service”), operated by Cleary Creative LLC (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. What the Service does

PermitPager reads publicly available building-permit data published by cities (currently New Orleans, LA; Orlando, FL; and Mesa, AZ), compares it over time, and sends you informational email summaries when a permit you track appears to change.

2. Accuracy not guaranteed. Confirm with the city.

The Service is informational only. City open-data feeds can be delayed, incomplete, reformatted or wrong, and our automated summaries may misread them. A status shown or emailed by PermitPager may not match the city's official record. Always confirm a permit's status, deadlines, fees and inspection results directly with the issuing city before acting. You remain solely responsible for meeting all permit, code, inspection, fee and deadline obligations. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for any city or permitting agency, and we do not file, expedite or change permits.

3. No guarantee of delivery or timing

We aim to check tracked permits daily, but checks or emails may be delayed or missed, for example when a city feed is down, changes format, or email is filtered. Missing an alert does not mean nothing changed.

4. Accounts and acceptable use

Provide a valid email address you control. Track only permits you have a legitimate interest in. Don't abuse, scrape, overload or resell the Service, or use it to harass anyone.

5. Plans, billing and cancellation

The Starter plan covers 1 permit at no charge. Paid plans (Pro, $39/month for up to 15 active permits; Unlimited, $99/month) are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, TIMELINESS, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

7. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CLEARY CREATIVE LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, PROJECT DELAYS, FINES, PENALTIES OR MISSED DEADLINES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR RELIANCE ON THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR $100 IF YOU USE THE FREE PLAN.

8. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms; material changes will be emailed or posted here with a new version date. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.
